We wanted to put this post up to keep from any confusion. MangaPage and IndieOtaku are our main web pages, ItBGames is not dead, we just keep most of our information posted up on these two sites.
Ok, well…that was quick…while there are some loose ends that still need to be tied up here and there the maintenance should be over. Our websites, particularly ItBGames, MangaPage, and IndieOtaku should now be accessed a lot faster than before, and from as far as I can tell, it is faster.
Over the next couple of days or so we will be doing some maintenance, so if you have problems accessing any information on our site just give us some time.
Yep, we now have a new host. What does that mean?
Well for one thing it means that I have been working hours and hours to get the stuff transferred, but after all that time, we are now converted over to a new host. This means we are now using php and mysql 5 and that even though it seems that everything is just as it was before…it means I still have a bit of work ahead of me to fully finish all of our server changes, not to mention that we will be updating our emails and things like that so bear with us until we finish it all. I’ll post an update when the server changes are all done.
If you have registered for this blog in the last day or two check to make sure that you are still registered and that any of your information is still intact, if not please update it if you can.
If you send us emails during the next couple of days or so we will try to respond like normal, but do expect our emails to possibly go down at one time until we finish updating them to our new server.
So, long story short (too late), we’re on a new server and that means that some things may be broken here and there that we haven’t checked out yet. If you find something email us.
This is step one in our soon to come good news.
PixelProspector has officially started their Indie Games! The Big Video Project Contest. ItBGames is also involved in this one as you will be able to win copies of Kino One as well in this contest. For a list of all the prizes and information for joining the contest check the source link below the video.
Anyway, this time around we have things where they are easier to update. The store is gone as well, at least temporarily. And we have this handy little thing:
If you click that button on the sidebar on the right you will be redirected to a random indie game, so if you are in the mood for an indie game, just click there. We’ll be adding more games to the button as time goes on.
Also, we have our own ad reels now which you can purchase ad space for. You can also get free ads from us too, just click the ‘advertise’ button above for info on that.
We are still working on MangaPage’s new website, but it’s not up yet. Look forward to more ItBGames news to be posted as it comes in.
