Vampire Blaze (RED)

“Vampire Blaze is a freeware platform game which seems to have taken the best elements from early Castlevania releases and updated them for this project with improved controls, decent graphics and a catchy soundtrack. You start the monster hunt unarmed, but new weapons such as axes, knives, whips, crossbows and even guns can be acquired by destroying the many candelabras you will find during your adventure.”

Wii-mote Jog through Tokyo

“A Japanese modder has mashed Google Maps with the Wii-mote to create “Tokyo-jogging”. It works pretty much like Jogging in Wii Sports: Users put the Wii-mote in their pocket and run in place. Instead of running through a Nintendo created background, users can jog (in place) through the streets of Tokyo. The interface looks somewhat slow — but there’s potential here!

You can watch the video via the Tokyo-jogging website above. As for the whole thing, it seems rather interesting. You know you’d do it if you had spare time with a wii-mote and a pc, especially if your wife was fussing about those extra pounds you’re gaining from spending so much time with video games.

Bounce Shot (Nigoro)

A nice little free browser game that’s a mix between Space Invaders and Breakout.

“Bouncians have invaded from the furthest depths of space! Earth’s only hope is the Shot, a starship secretly developed for this very contingency. But the Bouncians have countered by enveloping Earth with their own Bounce Barrier, a wall that can deflect anything, even the Shot’s own bullets! Think you’re smart, huh, you sneaky aliens? Well, guess what? We Earthlings can use your bouncy wall just as easily as you can!”

Portal – Still Alive typography from Trickster on Vimeo.

Ok…ok it’s not really indie per say but Portal is the closest thing to an indie in the market. Anyway it’s just cool so watch it.
