The Real Texas – Much better than the fake one!

This game is in development:

The Real Texas is a game I am developing, about a Texas cowboy who visits the UK and gets dropped into an alternate dimension.

This isn’t just any ordinary gameplay video; this one has plot. Tension is created: will Sam catch the forest creature, or will it escape? Watch, to find out!

I managed to get frame dumping implemented into the game engine and so I thought to make this for some fun. As it turns out, it was!

Realistic robot hand handles sushi like a pro

‘It can’t make sushi yet, but a human-like robotic hand developed by Kyoto-based factory automation firm Squse is dexterous enough to handle it like a pro.

The fleshy robot hand, which weighs 340 grams and consists of soft silicone skin stretched over a polycarbonate skeleton, has 22 pneumatically-powered artificial muscles that enable it to bend its fingers like a human hand. The hand can perform 20 different moves, ranging from a delicate two-finger pinch to a full-hand squeeze.

According to Squse, the robot’s delicate grip makes it suitable for a variety of manual labor jobs that require a human touch, such as handling parts in the factory, packing food, or even harvesting crops on the farm. The hand might also be used as a prosthetic limb, say the developers.’

ItBGames Blog is now IndieOtaku!

Well we’ve changed…not much, but it’s a change. Ok, all we did is rename the blog, add some new categories and change the logo, but it’s a change dang it!

Anywho, the ItBGames Blog has now been changed to IndieOtaku, which means instead of staying completely to indie game news, indie spotlights, and Japaneazee, we’re adding Anime and Manga news, more odd stuff and some extra posting. Ok, yea, I know. You’re thinking “it’s not that much”, but it means that we will be posting on a broader range of criteria ( insert smartiness here ;) ).

If you have any feeds, no they won’t have to be updated, they will do so automatically. If you have us on your Yahoo or anything else they should say IndieOtaku now instead of ItBGames. No permalinks were damaged in the changeover of this blog. Everything will still link the same, so don’t worry bookmarks are still working fine.

So, as the doc would say:

BacktotheFutureDocBrown-full

Great Scott! It’s IndieOtaku!
…ok, maybe he wouldn’t say that….shutup
