“After years of development we finally have a demo up for download.

Dating Sim’s aren’t very popular in the West, but we’ve put some effort into it and I figure some people over here might be at least slightly interested in checking it out.

It’s a fairly big game for your usual Dating Sim featuring a 3 year time-spawn, 10 different endings, about 80,000 lines of written dialogue, around 700 spoken dialogue lines, full-screen cinematics, about 70 different backgrounds/locations and about 120 pieces of cut-scene art.

The demo covers the first few months of gameplay and introduces some of the characters. Hopefully it will be able to give an idea of what some of the gameplay is like even if it doesn’t really convey the full scope of the game.

Recettear is a game about an item store, the girl who lives in it, and the fairy whose job it is to make sure that the girl doesn’t burn down the item store by accident.

Playing the game involves gathering items – either by playing the markets in the city of Pensee, or grabbing an adventurer and delving into the dungeons that dot the countryside – and selling them to the customers who come through your doors. Tear, the fairy, is here to collect on a loan your father took out – and she’ll have to take the store, which doubles as your house, if you can’t pay up!

I really liked the demo of this game and am looking forward to it’s release.

The Crunchyroll media-distribution website has announced on Wednesday that it will simulcast Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo’s television anime adaptation of Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga. The simulcast will start with the latest episode, #274, next Tuesday at 2:30 a.m. PDT. Episodes 266 to 273 will also be streamed next Tuesday, and information about the planned release of the remaining older episodes “will be provided at a later date.”

Crunchyroll’s simulcast will be available to Premium Subscription members in high definition one hour after each episode’s first airing on Japan’s TV Tokyo station, and for free in standard definition one week later. The simulcast will be available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, the United Kingdom, Ireland
, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. The streamed episodes will use English subtitles from Viz Media.

The only good Gundam movies, Mobile Suit Gundam Trilogy (Anime Legends) and Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Complete Movie Collection to be released on June 22, 2010.

And yea, some of you might be like “Glen, you’re crazy the second series is great”, but I say “I watched the original first, it has much higher standards and owns the second one”. But hey, post your opinons…

Date Warp is a branching-path adventure (plus puzzle minigame) with eleven possible endings.

To quote ANN: “The Gundam UC anime adapts Harutoshi Fukui’s 10 novel volumes of the same name, which are set in the same Universal Century (UC) timeline as Yoshiyuki Tomino and Sunrise’s first Mobile Suit Gundam science-fiction television anime series and its sequels. Bandai Visual’s first Blu-ray Disc volume for the series will ship on March 12 simultaneously in several countries with Japanese and English dubbing, as well as Japanese, English, French, Spanish, and Chinese subtitles. The first of six DVD volumes will ship on the same day with Japanese dubbing as well as Japanese and English subtitles. The first 58-minute episode, featuring the English dub, will premiere in America at San Francisco’s Viz Cinema theater from March 19 to March 25.”

It’s a shame we might not get that broadcast over here on the east coast, but there might be hope.

To quote even more: “Bandai Channel has begun streaming the video on the YouTube website without subtitles in multiple languages.”
