Eyeshock Studios is currently developing Cymbil Spellcraft, a multiplayer roleplaying game for multiple platforms. Cymbil promises lots of nostalgic gameplay, heavily borrowing game mechanics from RPGs of the 16 bit era. The most unique aspect of the games development is the Spellcraft editor, which allows players to create their own adventures without coding or scripting experience.

The guys over at Adhesive Games have finally got Hawken too open beta state. I’d have to say it’s time to really start playing now! If you haven’t had a chance to play it now’s the time.

The Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, contains all three classic games (Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2 and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3) available for download. All three games are complete versions of their original and can now be played online.

Submissions for the 2012 IndieCade Independent games contest are now open. IndieCade is one of the biggest annual Indie games contests. Submissions are being accepted through May 1st. Submissions can be sent in as late as May 15th for an additional processing fee. If you want to submit your game you can do that here, and if you need more info you can check out the FAQ here.
