In case you guys were wondering why we haven’t been posting much, it’s because we are finishing up Kino One. If all goes well it should be out in the next few weeks.

As many of you know our site was down for a few weeks and may have caused some problems with some of the feeds you subscribed to. This probably doesn’t affect any normal feeds that you would’ve bookmarked, but it may have affected your feed if you added it to your yahoo or google or any other sources other than your browser. It may also have affected your browser feed, but probably not, either way…

There is one simple fix for this problem, re-add us to your feeds. Just do like you did before…click the bookmark button in the upper right corner and re-add us. If you have any other problems with the feeds or anything else on our website, feel free to contact us and state the nature of the problem, we’ll get to your problem as soon as we can.

As you may have noticed the IBGames sites have been down for about a week but we’re back now, so stop your crying. We have had some problems on the server side of things but it’s been fixed now.

Lucasarts may not be an “indie company” but they are some people that revolutionized gaming as we know it, and guess what? They’ve jumped onto steam. Yes, it’s that time! Only time will tell all that they will add to steam, but the games they have added so far are located on the steam page here.

Awesome? Yes!
According to the news report by Steam News:

“This effort is going to make it possible to introduce a whole new generation of gamers to LucasArts’ classic games,” said Darrell Rodriguez, president of LucasArts. “It also gives more people a chance to play our games by making them available long after they’ve disappeared from store shelves. We hope our fans are as excited as we are about our plans and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next. This is just the beginning.”

What other games do you think they will release? Are you hoping for Jedi Knight?

Oh yea, to add insult to injury, I know you’ve heard of the Secret of Monkey Island update…well:

“The Monkey Island celebration continues on July 15 when LucasArts publishes The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, a completely re-imagined version of the first game in the series that adds updated high definition graphics, a re-mastered musical score, and full voiceover to the classic adventure game originally launched in 1990. The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition will be made available on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and PC via Steam and other online distribution channels.

Future announcements about the re-release of LucasArts’ back catalog titles will be made through LucasArts’ Twitter feed at http://twitter.com/lucasartsgames.”

Well we are back but we will not be officially back tell Tuesday. It was great but I’m glad to be back home.

Well it’s official we are on vacation for the next seven days in Orlando, FL! So you will have to find a way to live without us till then, yes, yes I know it will be hard but you can do it.

It will be hard for us to leave…

…but not that hard.

Well we’ve changed…not much, but it’s a change. Ok, all we did is rename the blog, add some new categories and change the logo, but it’s a change dang it!

Anywho, the ItBGames Blog has now been changed to IndieOtaku, which means instead of staying completely to indie game news, indie spotlights, and Japaneazee, we’re adding Anime and Manga news, more odd stuff and some extra posting. Ok, yea, I know. You’re thinking “it’s not that much”, but it means that we will be posting on a broader range of criteria ( insert smartiness here ).

If you have any feeds, no they won’t have to be updated, they will do so automatically. If you have us on your Yahoo or anything else they should say IndieOtaku now instead of ItBGames. No permalinks were damaged in the changeover of this blog. Everything will still link the same, so don’t worry bookmarks are still working fine.
